Escape School has educated more than three
million people with presentations at schools, churches, funeral
homes, community organizations, law enforcement agencies and
business groups.
Nearly 5,000 children are abducted yearly
by strangers in the United States. Almost 400 of these children
will never be seen alive again. What hope there is to reduce
this number often depends on what children can do in their
own defense.
Robert Stuber developed Escape School, a nationally
recognized child abduction prevention and evasion program
designed to teach families critical abduction prevention and
survival tactics.
Recognizing the need to address the safety
and social quality of our communities, Dignity Memorial funeral
providers teamed up with Stuber to help make our neighborhoods
safer. What ensured was a unique alliance that works toward
solving a growing problem.
Escape School addresses practical prevention
techniques in a manner that is neither frightening nor threatening,
teaching children to identify strangers not by what they look
like, but how they act. Escape School teaches that all the
rules change in a dangerous situation.
The entertaining and empowering one-hour program
begins with a public presentation and then acts as a catalyst
for long-term home instruction on the subject.
Bob Struber, the founder of Escape School,
is a nationally recognized personal safety expert. He travels
the country teaching millions of adults and kids how to stay
safe and smart. He is the author of two books on child safety
and has spoken about safety issues on national radio and television
programs throughout the country, including "Oprah"
and "Good Morning America."
"Last month my son celebrated his 10th birthday with

has the power, and it's the child."
